Frequently Asked Questions
💰 Pricing & Contracts
What are your service fees?
We charge a flat 6.5% of insurance collections. Unlike other services, we never charge you for patient co-pays or deductibles.
Is there a setup fee or upfront investment?
No. Setup is completely free, and there is no software to purchase. We integrate with your existing workflow.
Is there a minimum contract duration?
No. We believe in earning your business every month, so we do not require long-term contract commitments.
⚙️ How It Works
How long does it take to get started?
The onboarding process typically takes two to three weeks from our initial consultation to your first claim submission.
What information do I need to provide?
To get started, we simply need your provider information (from a HCFA 1500 form), patient demographics, insurance details, and your current fee schedule.
How do I send my billing information to you?
We offer flexible, secure options: you can send information via HIPAA-compliant email or secure fax.
Do I maintain control over my billing processes?
Absolutely. You maintain 100% oversight and control. We act as an expert extension of your office, not a replacement for your decision-making.
🚀 Reimbursements & Results
Where are the reimbursements sent?
All reimbursements are sent directly to your office. Billing Maximizers never touches your funds; we only facilitate the collection.
What is the typical turnaround time for claims?
Most major medical and Federal Workers' Comp claims are reimbursed within two weeks. Please note that Texas Workers' Comp and Personal Injury claims typically involve a longer payout cycle.
What happens if a claim is denied or disputed?
We handle the heavy lifting. Our team manages all denials and disputes, following up with insurance carriers and filing necessary appeals to ensure you get paid for your work.
🔒 Security & Compliance
Is my patient data safe?
Yes. Data security is our top priority. We are fully HIPAA-compliant, utilizing industry-standard encryption and protocols to ensure all patient information remains confidential and secure.
